In April 2026, Building Together reached an exciting milestone with the production of its first 5,000 jars of silan (date honey) at its newly built manufacturing facility in Kibbutz Samar, Israel.

The Samar facility marks an important step toward establishing sustainable production infrastructure and expanding Building Together’s capacity to bring its mission to more communities through a shared product.

This milestone also represents progress toward Building Together’s broader vision of developing complementary production opportunities, including a planned facility in Jericho, where Palestinian partners can participate in the production and growth of the initiative.
As Building Together continues to expand, each jar of silan offers an opportunity to introduce new audiences to a model of cooperation rooted in shared economic opportunity, human connection, and mutual dignity.
