Galit & Café Yaya | A Shared Table

Building Together is delighted to collaborate with Galit, a Michelin-starred Middle Eastern restaurant, and Café Yaya, both in Chicago. Co-owners Andrés Clavero and chef Zachary Engel, together with pastry chef Mary Eder-McClure, bring our silan (date honey) into their culinary creations.

Through incorporating silan into culinary creations and introducing it to customers, this collaboration celebrates the power of food to connect people, share stories, and support meaningful cooperation between Palestinian and Israeli communities.
