Date and Tahini Roasted Cabbage Wedges

Micah shared a cabbage recipe with date syrup and tahini, highlighting Building Together’s work with Palestinian and Israeli farming communities.

“I use a LOT of date syrup. It’s consistently one of my favorite sweeteners to use in the kitchen... I say its because its a natural sweetener thats been around for thousands of years, doesn’t spike your blood glucose like white sugar, and dates delicious, but I have a new favorite reason: Building Together The two communities (Palestinian and Israeli farmers) agree to partner on a special date syrup - with a hope that this mutually beneficial collaboration can help build and foster connection, peace, and help rebuild the region.”
